Powell, Robert. E. Whiteland. Dec. 8, 1786. March 10, 1787. To wife Mary 3 lotts, containing in all about 16 acres and £150. To son Jacob £100. To daughter Abigail Clayton £100. I forgive my grandson Joseph Hemphill his debt. To daughter Susanna interest of £200 during life and after her decease, to son Jacob, daughter Abigail and granddaughter Mary Wilson. To daughter Anna Noble interest of £500 during life, principal to be paid her if she survives her husband David Noble, otherwise to her children. Directs body to be buried at St. Peter's Church. Executors: Joseph Bolton, Christian Zug.
