Notes for Hester Viola HAUGH

Hester V. Speakman, 94, of Oxford, passed away on Wednesday, March 16th, 2011 at Ware Presbyterian Village, Oxford.
She was the wife of the late Norwood P. Speakman.
Born in Felton, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Pearl Kise Haugh.
Hester retired from Oxford Sewing Factory in1983. She was a charter member of the Degree of Pocahontas #212, Oxford, and member of Oxford United Methodist Church and the Winners Class, Farm Woman of Chester County, XYZ club, Oxford, and performed with the dance troop, Golden Slippers of the Oxford Senior Center. She is survived by two sons, Norwood C. Speakman (Shirley) of Wakefield, PA, Robert D. Speakman (Carol) of Oxford, PA; 8 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and a sister, Elsie Robinson of Brogue, PA. She was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Emery, Nelson and Walter Haugh and two sisters, Edith Keller and Lucy Irene Dunlap.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, March 21 at the Edward L. Collins, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 86 Pine St. Oxford, where friends may call from 10-10:50 AM.
A Pocahontas services will be held at 10:50 AM.
Interment will be in Oxford Cemetery.
