Margaret DeFrehn (Also spelled Defrain, etc.) was married to John Brownback abt 1780. According to historical accounts, they had ten children. Margaret was the daughter of the revolutionary soldier, Peter Defrain/Defrehn, and mother Eve Schewer (variety of spellings).
