Notes for Parker MILLS

Parker Mills and Mary Ashbridge emigrated to York, UpperCanada in 1793 with her mother, sisters and brothers. Parker applied forland as a settler; an affidavit by Jonathan Ashbridge confirms thatParker was a son of John Mills Sr. of Grimsby and also a brother ofRichard Mills of Grimsby. Parker and Mary raised ten children.
Parker Mills was one of the earliest residents of York.
