BARNARD- On fourth-month, 29th, 1887, Lydia Barnard, aged 83 years.
Friends and relatives meet from 1 to 2 o'clock p.m. at her late residence, northwest corner of Walnut and Miner streets, West Chester. Interment private.

FUNERAL-The pall-bearers at Lydia Barnard's funeral Tuesday afternoon were Charles Cloud, J. W. Barnard, Dr. J Howard Pugh, W. Marshall Swayne, Col. Jos. W. Hawley and W. W. Wooddruff, Jr., a son of the former school Superintendent, who married Edith B. Philips, who was a niece of the deceased. The interment was at the Friend's Cemetery, West Rosedale Avenue, and was private, being attended only by the family party. the deceased was a sister of the late Richard M. and Simon Barnard, deceased, and was the last survivor of that generation of that family. At the house there was a large attendance and speaking by Lydia Price, Phebe Griffith and Graceanna Lewis, the latter a cousin of the deceased.
