Notes for Robert Harold PENNOCK
Robert H. Pennock of Jobstown, N.J. passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016 at his home. He was 71.
Born Aug. 26, 1944 in Mount Holly, N.J., he was the son of Robert Harold Pennock and Dorothy (Pullen) Pennock (Fulton).
Robert was a former employee of Ft. Dix and received an award for Outstanding Government Service at his retirement.
He married Gwendolyn Knighten (Shook) on April 26, 1980 and became the step-father to Luke and Clayton Shook.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James; sister, Diane; and his grandson, Aiden.
He is survived by his wife, Gwen Pennock; his daughers, Pamela Wallis (Ray) and Shannon Branch (Jerry); and his step-sons, whom he raised, Clayton Shook and Luke Shook (Dawn). He is also survived by his brother, Theodore Pennock (Anna), and a sister, Alice Miller. Bob is also survived by Pam's sons, Christopher Powell (Cheree), Matthew Powell, and Peter Wilkens Jr., who affectionately refer to Bob as 'Squirt.' Bob was Pop Pop to Tyler and Trinity Shook of Jobstown, N.J.; Great Grandpap to Ayden and Abigail Powell of Lumberton, N.J.; and the grandfather of Shannon's children, Jacob, Kirsten, James, April, Noah, and Amberleigh.
Per Bob's request, he will be cremated. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street, Mount Holly, where friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.Perinchief Chapels,
