Notes for Dora PANIK
Mrs. Dora (Panik) Panik of 335 Ridge Ave., Allentown, widow of Joseph B. Panik, died yesterday in Sacred Heart Hospital. She was 72. Born in Czechoslovakia, she was a daughter of the late George and Dora Panik. Mrs. Panik was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church in Allentown. She was last employed at Modern Clothes, Allentown. Surviving are eight sons, Joseph and George, both of Allentown; John of Catasauqua; Andrew of Bethlehem; Albert and Edward, both at home; Frank of Northampton, and Stephen of Fullerton; two daughters, Helen, wife of Robert Fenstermacher of Allentown; Agnes, wife of Jacob Huber of Miami; eight brothers, John and George, both of Allentown; Joseph, Peter and Martin, all of Detroig, Michael of Portage, and Andrew and Paul, both of Snowshoe; two sisters, Mary Yozefik and Anna Smellick, both of Snowshoe; 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday in the Kohut Funeral Home, Ridge Ave. and Turner St., followed by a Solemn Requiem High Mass at 9 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church. Calling hours will be after 7 p.m. Sunday.
