Eavenson – In West Chester, On February 23 1916, George W Eavenson, in the 80th year of his age.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services without further notice from his late residence, 118 Linden Street, on Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock. Services and interment at Bethlehem M. E. Church, at Thornton, on Saturday the 26th inst., at 2 p.m.

Funerals
At his late home on Linden Street a large number of friends took leave of George W Eavenson on Friday evening and on Saturday the funeral services were held at Bethlehem M E Church, Thornton, being conducted by Rev. Jay Dickerson, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church, West Chester. Miss Stella Beebe sang 'Abide With Me,' and her accompaniment was played by Miss Susie Haws. Pallbearers were Edgar Eavenson, Edgar Eavenson Jr., Thos B Eavenson, Thomas J Eavenson Jr., George W Eavenson, Cass Brinton. There was a profusion of flowers, including a pillow, wreaths and clusters.
