Notes for Jacob CUSTER

JACOB CUSTER settled in McLean County Illinois in the year 1853. He lived in Barnett Township, DeWitt County Ill. from 1860 to 1866 and while living there invented and patented a sod-cutter or "colter" for breaking-plows. [Patent No. 55472. June 12 1866.]
