Notes for Ebenezer SPEAKMAN

Son of Joshua Speakman and Ann Miller, Born Londongrove, PA. married February 20, 1783 at Huntington MM, Adams Co. PA. moved to VA. then to Ohio. Ebenezer is listed in Springfield tsp. Ross Co. about 1812. His son Joshua's earliest record is 1808. In the Huntington MM records (Adams Co. PA.)of 1817, Vol. 6, pg 339 says the following, "Ebenezer Speakman and wife, with children Thomas, Ebenezer, Jacob, Ann and Phebe are granted permission to remove to Fairfield MM in Ohio."
