Ann Lee, born in 1683. After William Fitzhugh's death in 1715, Ann wed Daniel McCarty, a powerful figure in Westmoreland County who was then serving as speaker of the House of Burgess. She had several children by McCarty and survived him until 1732, when she was buried on the Fitzhugh estate, Eagle's Nest, in King George County.
