Notes for Israel KNIGHT

In 1804 Israel purchased 440 acres of land at Black River , NY for his children. He was the great-grandson of Giles Knight and his wife Mary English, who were married in England and came to this country in 1682, and settled in Byberry; he was a leading man in the county, and was several times elected a member of the Assembly.
