Notes for William INGRAM

Village Record
July 25 1865

Mr Ingram was a practical and successful mechanic but had retired from business years ago. He was one of the architects and builders of the Eastern Penitentiary, Philadelphia Alms-House, House of Refuge, Chester County Court House and Jail etc. The deceased lived near neighbors – we intimate friends – brothers-in-law about the same age they died within a few hours of each other and were buried in the same graveyard.
