Wilmer I. Bartram, attended the Friends Schools at Newtown Square and Malvern, Pa., and then George School in Bucks Co., Pa, He bought the share of his uncle, Hibberd Bartram, of the Israel L. Bartram farm on Crum
Creek in Willistown Twp. This ancestral home was sold in 1918 and he purchased a house and six acres at the Leopard near Berwyn, Pa. where he lived until 1923 when the family moved to Darby Road, Paoli. From 1927 to 1942 Mr. Bartram owned and operated a hardware store in Malvern.
