Bringhurst, William, Bishop of the Springville Ward, Kolob Stake, Utah, from 1870 to 1883, was born Nov. 8, 1818, in Passyunk, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania, a son of Joseph Bringhurst and Elizabeth Evans. He was baptized in January, 1845, ordained to the Priesthood and filled a special
mission to Las Vegas. He was ordained a Bishop Nov. 27, 1870.
