Mrs. Pennock Passes Away At Her Home
Mrs. Bertha (Ramey) Pennock of 2603 Sixth Ave., mother of Dr. Henry H. Pennock of the city, died at her home at 7:30 o'clock this morning after a brief illness. Her husband William Lloyd Pennock, a former well known contractor died in 1929.
She was born in altoona on Sept. 25, 1865, a daughter of the late David K. and Anna Rebecca (Knight) Ramey. Mrs. Pennock was a member of Christ Second Lutheran church and for a number of years was active in both the religious and music work of the church.
Surviving are two sons, Dr. Pennock of the city and Eugene R. Pennock of New York City, four grandchildren , and three sisters; Mrs. John S. fair and Mrs. R.M. Snyder of the city and Mrs. W.L. Nicholson of Ant Hills.
Friends may call at the Lafferty funeral home after noon Wednesday.
