Patriot, was born Nov. 6, 1709, in Ireland. His Remembrancer is one of the most valuable diaries that was kept during the revolution. The manuscript was presented to the Pennsylvania Historical society by his great-great-grandson, Charles Marshall, of Germantown. in 1839. He died May 4, 1797, in Philadelphia.
