Buffington, Thomas. Newlin. 4-27-1796. June 13, 1796. Provides for wife Lydia. To son Joshua, born 3-8-1776, the plantation where I now live, he to provide for and maintain during life, my son Emmor Buffington, and pay to his sisters Lydia and Ann Buffington £30 each. Remainder to be equally divided between my 5 daughters, Mary, Sarah, Hannah, Ruth and Elizabeth Buffington, except 20 shillings, which I give to son Joseph as his legacy. Wife Lydia to have the pewter she brought with her. Executors: Wife Lydia, James Trimble.
