Notes for Raymond Lawrence MAULE

Raymond Lawrence Maule, 85, a lifelong resident of West Grove, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, at Jenner's Pond.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Esther Schrader Maule.
Raymond was the son of the late Walter W. and Charlotte Way Maule.
He was a graduate of George School in Newtown. He received a bachelor's degree in agriculture economics from Penn State University, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Alpha.
Raymond was a mushroom grower for several years, then was employed with Chrysler at the Newark, Del., assembly plant for 32 years.
He enjoyed camping and traveling throughout the United States, gardening, and his family. He enjoyed sharing his model toy trains with family and friends, and was a member of Train Collectors of America (TCA) and Toy Train Operating Society.
Raymond was also a member of many historical organizations.
He was a birthright member of the West Grove Friends Meeting.
In addition to his wife, Raymond is survived by his three children, Carol M. Hornung and husband, Don, of Elizabethtown, Lawrence Walter Maule and wife, Kathleen, of Chatham, and Kathleen M. Kirk and husband, Jesse Kirk III, of Oxford; eight grandchildren, Kyle and Stephen Hornung, Aaron, Michael, Kelley and Mary Jane Maule, and Steven and Tiffany Kirk; and two great-grandchildren, Preston and Taylor Kirk. He is also survived by his sister, Elizabeth Maule Collins, wife of Peter J. Collins of Carthage, Maine; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial service on Sunday, Aug. 17, at 2 p.m. at West Grove Friends Meeting on Harmony Road in West Grove.
Interment will be private in Doe Run Friends Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Neighborhood Certified Hospice, 795 E. Marshall St., Suite 204, West Chester, PA 19380; or to the Benevolent Care Fund of Jenner's Pond c/o Director of Residential Services, 2000 Greenbriar Lane, West Grove, PA 19390.
