Mary Barringer Green, 92, Sarasota, died Nov. 22, 1998.
She was born July 24, 1906, in Schenectady, N.Y., and came to Sarasota 29 years ago from Bronxville, N.Y. She was a homemaker. She received her bachelor of arts degree from Wellesley College in Massachusetts. She was a member of Church of the Palms-Presbyterian, the Founders Circle of Sarasota Garden Club, the Wellesley Club, and a longtime volunteer for Longboat Library.
Survivors include a daughter, Catherine B. of Seattle, Wash.; a son, Edward A. Jr. of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
