Thomas E. Wollaston "Elwood"
Age 92, of Elsmere, DE, passed away on June 9, 2011 at the Christiana Hospital.
Thomas was born in New Garden, PA and moved to Newark as a young child. He retired in 1980 as a welder from the State of Delaware, Department of Transportation. Thomas was a WWII Army veteran. He enjoyed gardening, car shows, going to Wildwood, NJ, dining out and spending time with his family.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Marie E. (Clough) Wollaston, his brothers, Joseph and Leonard Wollaston and his sister, Jean Oas. He is survived by his children, Dolores M. Albence and her husband Jerry and Doris Ann Braddock; his grandchildren, Lisa and her husband Mike, Linda and her husband Bill, Michelle, Michael and his wife Nikki, Marc and his girlfriend Kristin; 11 great-grandchildren and his cat Muffie.
Friends may call on Sunday, June 12, from 6-8 pm at the MCCRERY & HARRA FUNERAL HOME, 3710 Kirkwood Highway, Wilm., DE where a service will be held on Monday, June 13 at 11 am. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
