Markle Sr which funeral took place from the residence of her son Alvan on West Broad St (Hazleton Pa) Services conducted by Dr. John Hemphill D.D. of West Arch ST Pres Ch Phila of which she was a member compares her with Dorcas & cites a life full of good works. Pastor cited that often they would find a large roll of greenbacks in the contributions box with no hint from whom they came, but they always knew such rolls were also often sent to his home. His sermon was a beautiful eulogy."
