Mrs. Lydia A. Willey, sister of New York Banker, Dies in WIlmington

WILMINGTON, Del., Oct. 1.-Mrs. Lydia A. Willey, aged 75, widow of Mayor Stansbury J. Willey, died at the Homeopathic Hospital to-day from being run down by an automobile belonging to R. R. M. Carpenter, a brother-in-law of Pierre S. du Pont, Acting President of the Du Pont Powder Company. Mrs. Willey was a sister of the late John Norris Robinson, member of the banking firm of Drexel, Morgan & Co. of New York.
The car was driven by Walter H. Carpenter of Wilkesbarre, father of the owner. He surrendered to the police after the death of the victim, but was released on $1,000, provided by Mr. Du Pont.
