Notes for Alice Rebecca HUSTON
Alice Huston Wolcott, 84, a leader in civic and community work, died Monday at Pennsylvania Hospital. Formerly of the Dorchester in Center City, she lived in Dunwoody Village, a retirement community in Newtown Square.
She was a member of the family which established Lukens Steel, and was educated at the Westtown School and Dana Hall.
She had been active in the Acorn Club, the Philadelphia Orchestra Association and the Garden Club of America, as well as the Junior League and Cosmopolitan Club.
Survivors: daughters, Brent W. Roehrs and Alice W. Palmer; son, Robert W. Jr., nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services: memorial, 3 p.m. Friday, St. Davids Church, Radnor.
