Notes for Nancy Elizabeth TATNALL
Nancy Tatnall Whipple, age 86, of Newark DE, died on Sunday October 30, 2016 at Christiana Hospital.
Nancy was a graduate of Alexis I duPont High School '47 and Bucknell University '51. She was involved with St. Barnabas Church choirs, former member of the Brandywiners, Mary Green Signers, Blue Rock Chorus, Northern Delaware Oratorio Society, and St. James Church (Stanton) choir.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Whipple (2004). Survivors include Peter Whipple (son), Blue Springs MO, Henry Tatnall, Jr. (cousin) and his wife Martha, Wilmington DE and George Tatnall (cousin), Woodstown NJ.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 1:00 pm at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 2800 Duncan Road, Wilmington, DE. Interment will be held on Tuesday November 8 at 10:30 am in the cemetery of St. James Episcopal Church (Stanton). Friends may call on Sunday, November 6 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Chandler Funeral Home, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin DE.
