Notes for George Aeneas ROSS

He completed his Master of Arts degree in 1700 at the University of Edinburgh. He tutored for a year, then turned to the ministry. He was ordained in the Church of England. Through the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts, he was sent to Delaware to be minister at Immanuel Church, New Castle, Delaware. He left London in May, 1705 and arrived in July, 1705. Sources of this information include his autobiography and records of the Bishop of London.
