CLARKSON OGDEN resides at the original homestead of the New Jersey branch of the Quaker Ogdens at Battentown, or South Swedesboro', being of the fourth generation; his greatgrandfather, Samuel Ogden30, having come from Delaware Co., Pa., when a young man, in 1767, and established himself in the tanning business. Clarkson Ogden has rendered much assistance to the compiler of this genealogy.
