Miss Martin graduated from the West Chester High School and also from the State Normal School there in 1911. She also studied at Columbia University in New York, N. Y. and taught in the Malvern, Pa. and West Chester public schools. After her marriage her home was in Pocopson Twp. where her husband was a farmer and cattle dealer. She was a member of the school board there for many years.
