Notes for Hannah PRATT

Hannah Pratt was a sister to Mary Pratt who married Timothy's brother, William. Both of these girls inherited a large number of slaves from their father. The ownership of slaves was prohibited by the Quaker Church. The two brothers, true to their principles, manumitted the slaves, much to their pecuniary loss.
