Philip Packer , son of Philip and Rebecca (Jones) Packer, lived for a time in the forks of Cooper's creek, opposite Kensington, Philadelphia, later removing to the vicinity of Yellow Springs in Chester county, Pa. He married Ann Coates, a native of Ireland.
