Notes for Jonathan INGHAM

Jonathan Ingham lived at Newhope, Pa. He succeeded to the farm and rolling mill at Great Spring, which were a part of the old homestead comprising 397 acres, bought by his father in 1747. There is a record that he was a private in the Solebury Company of Associators, Bucks County, Pa., Captain John Coryell, commanding, and James Ingham, 2d Lieutenant (a relative). Jonathan Ingham married Deborah Bye, born June 30, 1709, and daughter of Joseph and Sarah Bye.
