Susan P. Johnson married Thomas Bonsall on Oct. 16, 1823 at East Fallowfield Friends Meeting.
Susan's Husband, Thomas Bonsall, was a Quaker Abolitionist and Underground Railroad Conductor, in West Caln Twp., Chester County, Pa.

Died--On the 1st inst. in West Caln township, Chester county, Penn., Susan P. Bonsall, consort of Thomas Bonsall, in the 53d year of her age. No more will the poor fugitive be cheered by her kindness and smiles; the writer has seen the tears start in the eyes of the poor slave, when she would meet them at her door.
9th mo. 18th, 1847. Thos. Bonsall.
