Notes for Casper Wistar MORRIS

Casper Wistar Morris was the builder of the doll house for his two girls. The doll house was handed down from generation to generation until 1951 when it was donated to the Abby Rockefeller Folk Art Museum in Williamsburg, Virginia where it is on display.

There is another doll house located in "Primitive Hall", Chester Co., Pa. that is almost identical to the one in the Abby Rockefeller Folk Art Museum that belonged to Sarah Wistar Pennock. Caspar's grand-daughter by his daughter Caroline Morris. It appears that Caspar Wistar Morris was the builder of that one also as they are almost identical.
