HAYES, DAVID. Oxford March 18 1786. Adm. to Jean Hayes. June 19, 1787.
Jean Hayes, widow, petitioned for guardiands for Archibald, John, David,
and
William Hayes, under 14 years of age.

HISTORY OF CHESTER COUNTY, PA. Futhey & Cope, 1881, p594
Under large bio on Hayes it gives: Joseph Hayes married Jean Woodward,
daughter of Richard of West Bradford, and settled on part of his father's
land. He died, 1748, leaving issue, Isaac; Henry; Abigal; Joseph; Caleb &
Ruth.
