Notes for Thomas STOKES

Thomas and Mary Barnard Stokes came from Lower Shadwell, England (or from Stepney, Middlesex) to Moorestown, Burlington Co., NJ on board the ship 'Kent" in June 1677. They settled on the Rancocas Creek. He signed the original "Concessions and Agreements" of the Proprietors of West Jersey.
