C. Dilworth Pierson of Wilmington, DE passed away on January 23, 2020 at the age of 81. He is survived by his beloved wife, Georgia Boines Pierson. His parents, H. Ellis Pierson and Anne Dilworth Pierson, predeceased him. C.D. was a member of the Religious Society of Friends and the Welcome Society of Pennsylvania. His interests included traveling, gardening, reading, classical music, and genealogy. He especially enjoyed playing croquet. He was a graduate of George School, Newtown, PA and Guilford College, Greensboro, NC.

C.D. served as Executive Director of the Friends Center Corporation in Philadelphia, PA, retiring after working with Friends for 32 years.
