Notes for Frank Raymond Jr. BONSALL
Frank R. Bonsall, Jr., 91, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on May 2, 2018 at his home. Frank was born in Chester, PA on July 9, 1926 to the late Frank R. and Jennie (Stewart) Bonsall. He was also predeceased by his brother James E. Bonsall, Sr. of Kansas. Frank attended Media High School before entering into the U.S. Army in 1944. He was deployed to Germany during WWII, in the 3rd Armored Division. It was while stationed there that he met the love of his life, his wife of 70 years, Marianne. Frank worked for Medford’s in Chester, PA for most of his working career, before retiring in 1991. Those who knew Frank would agree, he was an avid horseracing fan and he enjoyed spending time at area horse tracks. He loved being around people, and in his senior years, he especially enjoyed time spent with his great grandsons, whom he truly adored. Survivors include his wife Marianne; two daughters, Linda B. Carducci of Wilmington, DE and Diana J. Burkey (husband Brett) of Boca Raton, FL; one grandson, Mark A. Carducci (wife Sonja) of Wilmington, DE; two great grandsons, Mark A. and Donovan G. Carducci of Wilmington, DE; a brother, Basil G. Bonsall of Sebring, FL and a sister, Alice Jane Wyatt of Aston Mills, PA; and a host of nieces and nephews. Immediate Funeral Services will be private and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
