Notes for Gerald L. PINKERTON

Gerald L. Pinkerton, 81, of Chester Springs, died April 5, 2018 under the care of Seasons Hospice - Phoenixville Hospital. Born in West Chester on March 16, 1937, he was a son of the late Reuben M. and Frances Willard Pinkerton. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley Boud Pinkerton, 2 sons, Jeffrey and wife Dawn of Coatesville; Jamison, of East Petersburg; daughter, Deborah, wife of Joseph Nealon of Folsom, brother Allan and wife Judy of Glenmoore, sister, Carol Pinkerton Billingham of Pottstown, 7 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and several cousins. He was predeceased by a daughter in 2016, Laurie Pinkerton Bundy, wife of Alan Bundy of Mt. Joy. He attended Conestoga High School and had been employed at White Manor Golf Club. He later was self-employed as a small engine repairman. Mr. Pinkerton was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him. He was cremated and there will be a private memorial service at a later date.
