Ethel L. (Mercer) Brookover, 86, of West Chester, PA, passed away on January 30, 2018.
Born in Downingtown, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Pyle) Mercer.
Ethel was the beloved wife for nearly 65 years, of George R. Brookover, Sr.; loving mother of George R. Brookover, II his wife Kathleen, Thomas A. Brookover, Sr. his wife Jamie, and Brian D. Brookover his wife Carolyn; also Grandmom to 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother William Mercer, sister Mildred Harple, and surviving sister Jean Stilwell, along with many nieces and nephews. Ethel was the Secretary and Treasurer for Brookover Well Drilling Co.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday, February 5, 2018 at The Ralston & Bredickas Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3041, followed by her Funeral Service at 12:30 PM. Interment Private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Willow Tree Hospice, 616 E. Cypress Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348, are encouraged.
