She is survived by her husband of over 67 years: Wilmer W Sager III. Beloved mother of: David W Sager, Steven J Sager, and Debra S Jordan. Grandmother to: Ryan, Zachary, Julian, and Gabriela. Great grandmother to Sarah. Nancy is also survived by her siblings: John Hamilton, Peggy Yujiri, and Jeffrey Hamilton along with their families and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Our beloved mother will be missed by all who knew her. Last Saturday - October 21st, 2017 - Mom passed on and into the the next world - Mom filled our home and family with joy and loving kindness. A city girl who became a dairy farmer’s wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in 1950 - she went back to college 20 years later to earn an education degree and get her teaching certificate. Mrs Sager taught 4th grade in West Chester area schools for 20 years. She loved her time teaching and shaping a generation of young minds. Nancy then spent her retirement years in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She happily volunteered at the Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo, NC. Mom was someone who was always there - always caring - always loving and always engaged. Mom lived life with a smile on her face. We all see you wrapped in the love of the Great Spirit and free from the bonds of this world. We hold you close in our hearts and in our memories. Until we meet again... A memorial service is being planned for a later date and will be announced. Donations may be sent in Nancy’s honor to the Elizabethan Gardens, Manteo, North Carolina or the Kitty Hawk Methodist Church in Kitty Hawk, NC.
