Notes for Harrison William III ROACH
HARRISON WILLIAM "BUTCH" ROACH, III, 73, of Rio Grande, NJ, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a lifetime resident of Cape May County, living in North Wildwood before moving to Rio Grande. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and worked as a lineman for NJ Bell and Bell Atlantic.
Butch was a member of Covenant Bible Church in Fishing Creek. He was a Troop Leader for Boy Scout Troops 63 and 59. He especially liked spending time with his grandchildren.
Butch is survived by his wife of 51 years, Beverly A. (nee Higgins) Roach; his children, Gary Roach (Debbie), Richard Roach, Kimberlea Aguado (Ricardo); his father, Harrison William Roach, Jr.; his brothers, Dale Roach (Viki) and David Roach (Lori); and his four grandchildren, Daniel, Allison, Anderson, and Ryan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Elizabeth Westenberger Roach; and his son, Robert Roach.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where the service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, South Dennis.
