Harry C. Hoopes, 64, of West Chester, Pa passed away on April 27, 2017 at Chester County Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents Norman E. and Henrietta M. (nee Flerx) Hoopes and also his infant daughter Heather Anne.

Harry was a lifelong West Chester resident. He was a former West Chester police officer, Army Veteran, member of VFW #106 in West Chester and Mensa member. He was also a bartender at the VFW, Knights of Columbus in West Chester, Carlini's and Jakes Bar. What he enjoyed most though was the time he spent with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved son Andrew Hoopes (Colleen), loving grandchildren Alexis and Aiden, dear sisters Clara Cuneo, Audrey Hoopes, his former wife Ruth Blundin and her husband Brent.

Interment will be 2:00 PM May 15, 2017 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery 830 Highland Rd. Newtown, Pa 18940 2017
