Notes for Maurice R. BIDDLE

Maurice R. Biddle, 66, South Venice, died Jan. 5, 1999.

He was born Sept. 26, 1932, in Philadelphia, and moved to Florida eight months ago. He had been employed by TV Guide for 13 years as a promotion writer, and for Comdata Corp. in Atlantic City, N.J. He was also a professional jazz pianist who wrote many songs, some for the Mask and Wig Club of the University of Pennsylvania and for companies in Reading, Pa., and New York City. A Navy veteran, he was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter, Jennifer of Beach Haven, N.J.; a son, Christopher of Audubon, Pa.; and two brothers, Eric H. Jr., of San Diego, and John R. of Washington, D.C.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Venice. The National Cremation Society, Port Charlotte chapter, is in charge.
