Notes for M. Caroline TREGO
M. Caroline (Trego) Imhoff, 75, of Leola, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Ephrata Hospital. She was born in Cambridge, Chester County to the late L. Floyd Trego and Mary C. (Cunningham) Trego. She was the wife of Melvin E. Imhoff of Leola. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in May.
Caroline was a member of Ebenezer Evangelical Congregational Church, Browns-town, where she was a nursery attendant and a member of the choir. At one time, she was a member of the Gospelaires. Caroline enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She attended Salisbury School and graduated from New Holland High School in 1954. Caroline worked for Frank Ix and Sons as a secretary for about 15 years before taking time off to raise her family. Caroline returned to work for Yoder's Country Market where she retired.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Beth L. (Imhoff) Lani wife of Daniel W. Lani, Jr., Virginia and Becky R. Imhoff, Leola; two grandchildren, Daniel W. Lani, III and Melissa Lani; one brother, Louis F. Trego, husband of Frances Trego, of Churchtown; two sisters, Kathleen A. (Trego) wife of Barry White, South Carolina, Jeanie F. (Trego) wife of William Beekken, Georgia.
The memorial service will be Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 1 p.m. from the Ebenezer Evangelical Congregational Church, S. State Street, Brownstown. Friends may call from 12-1 p.m. Thursday at the church. Interment of Ashes: Memory Gardens, Ephrata. Furman's - Leola
