Notes for Sarah BOLICH
Sarah Bolich "Sally" Supplee died peacefully at Willow Valley Retirement Community July 4th. She was born August 31, 1927 in Drehersville, PA, the youngest daughter of Jacob and Edna (Balthaser) Bolich. In 1948, Sarah graduated from Kutztown State Teachers College where she met her husband of over 61 years, Earl C. Supplee Jr. They lived with their family in Merion Station, PA, for 35 years before moving to Willow Valley in 1999. She was a well loved elementary school teacher and taught in various school districts, lastly, in Lower Merion School District for over 25 years. She enjoyed singing and sang in a number of church choirs including with the Rev. Billy Graham Crusades in the 1950's. In addition to her husband, Sarah is survived by two children, Susan S. Morrison and Earl C. Supplee III, five grandchildren and two sisters, Rachael Rentschler and May Bagenstose, both of Hamburg, PA.
There will be a family Memorial Service on Friday, July 9, 2010, at 11 AM in the Bachman Funeral Home, 7 South Decatur Street, Strasburg, PA. Interment in Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery, 1235 Birmingham Road (Route 926), West Chester, PA at 2:00 PM. Please omit flowers. Kindly consider sending a contribution in Sarah's memory to the Brunner Scholarship Fund, Willow Valley Communities, 675 Willow Valley Square, Lancaster, PA 17602. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 11 AM in the Johnson Auditorium at Willow Valley Manor North.
