Charles Frederick Hoopes Jr. of Glenmoore, PA Charles Frederick Hoopes Jr., 59, passed away on October 24, 2016 after a brief fight with cancer. Born to Charles Hoopes Sr. and Jean Hoopes (née Clauss) on November 11, 1956 in Bryn Mawr, Charlie was a lifelong resident of Chester County and spent over 30 years working in Information Technology. He is survived by his daughter Randi Rosenfeld and son-in-law Jared of Perrineville, NJ, granddaughters Hannah Jean (3) and Ada Catherine (1), brother Scott Hoopes, sister-in-law Pam, and nephew Scott Hoopes Jr. of Downingtown, PA, parents who now reside in Hudson, FL, and a host of extended family and friends that loved him dearly. Charlie treasured time with those around him, especially his precious grandchildren, and spent many fun weekends in Ocean City, NJ with family. He was happiest boating on Smith Mountain Lake, VA and was the best captain out there. He will be sadly missed. Services will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Frazer on Monday, Nov. 14 at 11am. Donations in Charlie’s memory can be made to Main Line Animal Rescue
