Notes for Florence MCCULLEY
Florence D. Barnes, 95, of Coatesville died Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Harrison Senior Living, Coatesville. She was the wife of Arthur W. Davis and William M. Barnes, who preceded her in death. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Florence Reever McCulley. Florence worked at the former Lukens Steel Company as the first mail girl in the mill where she walked and carried the mail to the various buildings in all weather. She was later promoted to receptionist and finished her career in the Accounts Payable department. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. Surviving her is a daughter, Cynthia Mallalieu; and a son, Jack Coldren and his companion, Sweetie. She was the matriarch to five living generations. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 107 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville. Relatives and friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Hephzibah Cemetery, Coatesville. In her memory, contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, at the above address or Neighborhood Hospice, 795 E. Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380.
