THE WILL OF GRAVENOR MARSH
To Wife, Hannah, whole plantation, tools, cattle, sheep, horses, poultry
etc. At her death to be divided. To grandson, Gravener Likens, 100 acres
land inc house, black man Mace, sorrell mare and wagon. Children: Henry,
Gravenor Junr., James, Hannah Likens (deceased), Ann Howell, Lydia
McNeese. To sons, Henry and Gravenor Junr., balance of my land equally
divided. To son, James $1.00. To granddaughter, Elizabeth marsh,
daughter of Gravenor, Chest of drawers and cow. To grandson, Gravenor
Roberts, $10.00 when he is 21 years old. Children of Hannah Likens,
dec., $7.00.
Executors: Gravener Marsh Junr.
Will dated 31 July 1826.
Witnessed: David Moore, Benjamin Gray, Thomas Doan.
