Notes for Faith Maris HOSKINS
Faith M. Powell, formerly of Coatesville Faith M. Powell, 74, of Lewes, DE and formerly of Coatesville, PA passed away at home on Friday, July 22, 2016. She was the wife of Walter A. Powell, Sr. with whom she shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late George Maris and Isabella (Ciriglona) Hoskins. Faith was a 1960 graduate of S. Horace Scott High School. For over 35 years, she was employed with Pepperidge Farms in Downingtown and Denver, PA. Faith was a dedicated mother who cherished “her boys” and her grandchildren immensely. She loved to cook, facebook, and keep in touch with her family and friends. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are four sons; Martin L. Lockhart and his wife, Anita of Downingtown; George M. Lockhart and his wife, Jo Ann of Narvon; Aaron K. Powell and his wife, Dawn of Ephrata; Walter A. Powell, Jr. of Bangkok, Thailand; twelve grandchildren, Danielle Williams, Kristina Mazzula, Anita Rose Mazzula, Maris Lockhart, Kaela Lockhart, Ryan Lockhart, Kirk Powell, Brittany Matuson, Brooklyn Powell, Jackson Powell, Taylor Powell, Tara Powell; one great-grandchild, Emilia Williams; with another great-grandchild on the way; and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Faith was predeceased by her brother George Hoskins, and her beloved grandson, Kyle A. Powell. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.
