Notes for William Ronald PYLE
William R. Pyle, age 73, of Elkton, MD, passed away tragically along with his son, Christopher R. Pyle, at the family's home as a result of a house fire which occurred on Monday, October 17, 2016.
Born and raised in Wilmington, DE, Ronny was the son of the late Edward Madison Pyle and Ethel M. (Buckingham) Pyle. A skilled general contractor who specialized in residential additions, he was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to create and build anything.
Ronny was a past member of the Christiana Volunteer Fire Company. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed playing softball. Above all else, he will be remembered as a devoted father and grandfather, who was always present for his loved ones.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister; and a granddaughter, Layla Elise Pyle. He is survived by his daughters, Wendy L. Johnson of Elkton, MD and Dawn Pyle of Newark, DE; grandchildren, Alison and Kristen Johnson and Aiden, Bianca and Elise Pyle; and siblings, Lois Yoder, Richard Pyle, Robert Kenneth Pyle and Harvey Bruce Pyle, all of Newark, DE.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 12 Noon on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the White Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, 15 Polly Drummond Hill Rd, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will be held at 12 Noon. Interment will be private.
